Murlidhar Chandrakant Bhandare was a prominent Indian politician and senior leader of the Indian National Congress from Maharashtra. He served as a member of the Rajya Sabha for three terms from 1980 to 1994. In addition to his political career, he was a Senior Advocate at the Supreme Court of India and held the position of President of the Supreme Court Bar Association for two terms. He was appointed as the Governor of Odisha in 2007, serving until 2013. His autobiography was published in March 2024.
