Mykhailo Boychyshyn was a Ukrainian politician known for his role as a deputy in the Lviv Regional Council from 1990 to 1994 and as the head of the Shevchenkivskyi District Executive Committee in Lviv. He served as the deputy chairman and head of the secretariat of the People's Movement of Ukraine. Boychyshyn was kidnapped by masked armed men on January 15, 1994, along with banker documents related to the financing of the Baltic-Black Sea oil pipeline through Belarus, and his body has never been found.
