He authored thirty novels and over one hundred short stories across various genres, including adventure, science fiction, social issues, history, and humor. His literary contributions also encompassed news articles, movie reviews, and children's stories. He was known for his work as a cartoonist. Some of his notable works are preserved in the Washington Library, Chicago, Illinois. Bhaskar passed away on 4 June 2013 during treatment in Care Hospital, Hyderabad.
