Myron Pierman 'Mynie' Sutton (1903-1982) was a Canadian alto saxophonist and bandleader from Niagara Falls. He performed in various dance ensembles in the U.S. before founding the Canadian Ambassadors, one of the few black jazz bands in Canada during the 1930s. Based in Montreal, the group played at notable venues and toured Quebec and Ontario. Sutton returned to Niagara Falls post-1941 and performed locally for decades, despite not making commercial recordings. His contributions are documented in a collection held at Concordia University library.
