Myra Biggerstaff-Kvistberg was an American-Swedish painter born on February 6, 1905, in Logansport, Indiana, and died in 1999. She studied at Bethany College and worked with artist Birger Sandzén. After her marriage to Roland Kvistberg in 1933, she moved to Sweden, where she studied art and exhibited her works. Following World War II, she returned to the USA, became active in the art scene, and taught at Trinity University and later at Columbia University, eventually retiring as an adjunct professor from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
