He became a corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus in 1966 and earned a Doctorate of Biological Sciences in 1955. He held the title of professor starting in 1960 and contributed significantly to the field of physiology during his lifetime. He passed away on November 6, 1999, leaving a legacy in biological research.
