Born on 27 April 1933, he gained recognition for his literary contributions, including receiving the Nalapadan Award in 1991 for his story 'Sheshapathram' and the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award in 1998 for his novel 'Innalathe Mazha'. He published around ten collections of short stories, including notable works like 'Ninte Katha' and 'Dukhathinte Rathrikal'. He was the son of well-known Malayalam writer Lalithambika Antharjanam.
