Najib Albina (January 2, 1901 – July 23, 1983) was the chief photographer of the Palestinian Archaeological Museum, where he took the first original photographs of the Dead Sea Scrolls. His work utilized infrared photography to document Palestinian Christian heritage and ancient civilizations. Born in Jerusalem to Catholic parents, he faced significant challenges during the 1948 Nakba and later settled in the US. His photographic contributions greatly influenced archaeological photography techniques, particularly in relation to the Dead Sea Scrolls. He passed away in Virginia.
