Nalbert Tavares Bitencourt, born on March 9, 1974, in Rio de Janeiro, is a former Brazilian volleyball player. He was part of the Brazilian men's national volleyball team from 1995 to 2007, winning a gold medal at the 2004 Athens Olympics. Bitencourt also achieved the World Championship title in 2002, won the World Cup in 2003, and claimed three World League titles and four South American Championships. On the club level, he played in Brazil, Italy, and Japan, also engaging in beach volleyball for two seasons. He was recognized as Brazil's Sportsman of the Year in 2002.
