Naofumi Nanbu is a Japanese composer and keyboardist born on May 7, 1973, in Matsuyama, Ehime Prefecture. He began his career in December 1999 as a support keyboardist and live arranger for renowned singer-songwriter Mitsuko Komuro. He expanded his work by supporting various artists, including Shimizu Manabu and providing songs for the female vocal unit MAYUKI. In 2006, he produced the live show for Reiko, who sang an insert song for the Detective Conan movie. In 2007, he composed a campaign song for politician Kanako Otsuji, the first openly gay politician in Japan.
