Nasib Bitar was an Emirati media personality of Jordanian descent, born on June 7, 1953. He significantly contributed to the media landscape in Dubai, primarily through his long tenure at Dubai Television, where he was a founding member and director of programs. He oversaw various documentary programs highlighting the UAE's heritage. In addition, he served as director of the English-language station known as Dubai One (formerly Station 33). Bitar passed away on February 22, 2011, at the American Hospital in Dubai after a prolonged illness.
