Nasrollah Jahangard is an Iranian politician born in 1958, who served as the former deputy minister of ICT in Technology and Innovation. He was involved extensively in telecommunications, being a founding member of the Islamic Iran Participation Front and serving as an advisor to President Khatami. Jahangard directed Iran's first comprehensive ICT plan, Takfa, and played a significant role in international ICT discussions, representing Iran at the World Summit on the Information Society. He holds degrees in computer engineering and system engineering.
