Hla Myint, known by the pseudonym Nat Nwe, was a significant Burmese writer and the founder of Nwe Ni magazine, specializing in foreign affairs. His career began in 1950 with the poem 'Schoolgirl' published in Hanthawaddy newspaper. Over his lifetime, he authored over 100 novels and translated 20 others into Burmese. He passed away at his home on May 11, 2011, and was cremated on May 13 at Yayway Cemetery.
