Arnold Joseph Marie (Naud) van der Ven was a Dutch politician born on March 7, 1903, in Rotterdam. He served as a civil servant in Oisterwijk before becoming the mayor of Wijk bij Duurstede in 1934. He was dismissed in 1943 and had to go into hiding. After liberation, he resumed his role as mayor and later served as the interim mayor of Cothen. In 1946, he was appointed mayor of Laren (NH) and retired in 1968. He passed away on November 11, 1978, at the age of 75.
