Nazir Mustafa Karamagi, born on December 13, 1953, is a Tanzanian politician and a Member of Parliament representing the Bukoba Vijijini constituency. He has been part of the National Executive Council of Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) since 2002. Karamagi served as Minister of Industry, Trade and Marketing from January to October 2006, before becoming the Minister of Energy and Minerals, a position he held until February 2008. His resignation was linked to a scandal over a government contract for emergency power supply.
