Necla Nazır is a Turkish retired singer and actress, born on April 16, 1956. She gained prominence in the Turkish cinema after winning an acting contest in 1972 and began her career at 16. Notable for her collaborations with husband Ferdi Tayfur, she appeared in several films and released an album with his assistance. Nazır retired from acting in 2008 and later hosted programs on a religious TV channel. Her contributions to the arts were recognized with the Golden Orange Life Achievement Award in 2018.
