William Neil Tompkins (1927-1991) was an Australian rules footballer known for playing with Geelong in the Victorian Football League (VFL). He began his football career at North Geelong and was also a member of the Royal Australian Navy. In the 1945 VFL season, he made 12 appearances for Geelong. After being cleared to Carlton in 1950, he did not play any league matches for the club. He was later inducted into the North Geelong Football Club's Hall of Fame in 2014.
