Nelly Khostikyan was an Armenian pathologist-anatomist born on May 25, 1940, in Yerevan, Armenian SSR, USSR, and passed away on October 12, 2020, in Yerevan, Armenia. She earned her Doctor of Medical Sciences and became a professor in 1990. Khostikyan was elected as a member of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia in 2003 and was recognized as 'Woman of the Year' and 'Woman Specialist of the Year' in 2001 by the American Biographical Institute.
