Nelson Abadía, born on June 5, 1956, is a Colombian football coach who has been the head coach of the Colombia women's national football team since 2017. He previously managed various Colombian men's clubs and the women's team at América de Cali. Abadía served as an assistant coach for Colombia's U/20 men's national team in 1985. From 2020 to 2021, he was also the head coach of Colombia's U/20 women's national team. He led the senior national team to victory at the 2019 Pan American Games and selected his first World Cup squad in June 2023.
