Nesten, born Rik Delneste René in Zwevegem on December 20, 1946, was a Flemish cartoonist known for his caricatures of cyclists and prominent figures. He established a 'laugh museum' where his work was exhibited, and he created painted displays on windows and walls, particularly recognized in southern West Flanders. His artworks became a familiar sight on café storefronts. In the mid-1990s, he co-hosted the program Zomer in Nesten with Donaat Deriemaeker. Nesten passed away on October 13, 2018, due to cancer.
