Néstor Cortés Jr., born on December 10, 1994, is a Cuban-American professional baseball pitcher known for his time with the New York Yankees in Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played for the Baltimore Orioles and Seattle Mariners. Selected by the Yankees in the 36th round of the 2013 MLB draft, Cortés debuted in the MLB in 2018 and established himself as a prominent pitcher for the Yankees, leading to his recognition as an MLB All-Star in 2022.
