Nestor Aldave Espenilla Jr. (12 October 1958 – 23 February 2019) was a notable Filipino banker who served as the fourth governor of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas from 2017 until his passing in 2019. He began his career at the BSP in 1981 and was appointed as a deputy governor before succeeding Amando Tetangco Jr. His leadership in the central bank was marked by significant contributions to the Philippine banking system, particularly during his term as governor.
