Desdia Neva Egan was an American educator and the first First Lady of Alaska, serving from 1959 to 1966 and again from 1970 to 1974. She was married to William Allen Egan, Alaska's first governor, and had a significant role in the state's early development. Beyond her duties as First Lady, she was also the mother of Dennis Egan, who served as the Mayor of Juneau and as an Alaska State Senator.
