Newton Marin da Matta was a Brazilian actor, voice actor, writer, announcer, and dubbing director, born on February 14, 1935, in Rio de Janeiro. He began his artistic career at the age of eleven in radio broadcasting. He worked in several radio stations, notably as a writer and cast director at Rádio Nacional. Later, he became known for his television work, acting and writing for Tele-Peças on various Brazilian channels, including Rede Tupi and Rede Globo. He passed away on March 6, 2006, in Bragança Paulista.
