Ralph Nicholas Köster (1989-2023) was a South African rugby union player known for playing as a Flanker or Eight Man. He attended Bishops College and represented Western Province in Craven Week and at the national school level. Köster debuted in the Currie Cup at 19 and played for the Stormers, later joining Bath and Bristol Rugby. He became captain of Cambridge University's rugby team while studying for an MSt in Social Innovation. Nick was involved in charity work with Project Zulu, promoting educational development in South Africa. He passed away at 34.
