Nick van der Ploeg is a former Dutch goalkeeper, born on February 25, 1988, in Rotterdam. He grew up in youth academies of Feyenoord and Excelsior before joining FC Dordrecht's professional squad in 2007. He made his professional debut for Dordrecht on February 6, 2009, in a match against RKC Waalwijk. During the 2010/11 season, he became the starting goalkeeper under coach Henny Lee. After his contract was not renewed in 2012, he signed with VV Capelle and later moved to BVV Barendrecht in 2018.
