Nicky McFadden (1962-2014) was an Irish Fine Gael politician best known for her role as a Teachta Dála for Longford–Westmeath since 2011. Prior to this, she served in the Seanad Éireann and was actively involved in local community work, including chairing several councils and committees. A well-educated individual, she held a Legal Studies Diploma and worked as a medical secretary. Her political career included a stint on Athlone Town Council and Westmeath County Council. McFadden passed away from motor neurone disease in 2014.
