Nicola Heywood-Thomas was a Welsh broadcaster and journalist born on May 17, 1955. She worked for BBC Radio Wales and HTV, where she spent 18 years as a news presenter. She joined BBC Radio Wales right after university and later hosted the Radio Wales Arts Show for 25 years. Heywood-Thomas was also a deputy editor and reporter for BBC Wales Today but is best remembered for her time at HTV. She passed away on April 6, 2023, at the age of 67 while undergoing chemotherapy.
