She has released four studio albums: 'What About Me' (1986), 'Jam Packed' (1988), 'Love Town' (1998), and 'What's Up?' (2002). Her single 'Don't Want Your Love' became internationally recognized, alongside other hits like 'Runnin' Away' and 'Search'n'. In the late 1990s, she was also part of the music project 'Voices of Freedom'. In 2013, she competed in the third season of the U.S. singing competition The X Factor, finishing in eighth place overall.
