Sir Nigel David Poole is a British High Court judge born on 10 November 1965 in Shipley, England. He was educated at Bradford Grammar School and The Queen's College, Oxford, where he earned a BA in philosophy, politics, and economics. After completing his legal training, he practiced clinical negligence and personal injury law. Poole became head of Kings Chambers from 2017 to 2020, served as a chair of the Bar Tribunal, and was appointed to the High Court in 2020. He currently serves as the Family Division liaison judge for the North Eastern Circuit.
