Nigel Paul Willis is a retired South African judge who served in the Supreme Court of Appeal from July 2013 to October 2018. Before this role, he was a judge in the Gauteng High Court from November 1998 to June 2013, where he was known for his conservative and pro-capitalist legal perspectives. He also held a position on the Labour Appeal Court. Willis originally trained in banking before transitioning to advocacy from 1980 to 1998, and he was appointed as a Queen's Counsel in 1997.
