Born on January 28, 1937, in Ikuno, Osaka, he gained immense popularity in the late 1960s and early 1970s through late-night radio shows. His catchphrase 'どんなんかな～' propelled him to fame. Notably, he served as the second host of NHK's variety show 'Variety Guide to Life' (バラエティー生活笑百科), famous for the phrase 'Four corners of Nikaku will be rounded off well'. He passed away on August 17, 2021.
