Niki Eideneier (also known as Eideneier-Anastassiadi) is a German-Greek neogreekist, literary translator, and publisher, born on October 28, 1940, in Kilkis, Greece. She studied Greek philology and Byzantine studies and worked for the Bavarian Radio's Greek program, opposing the Greek military junta. From 1982 to 2014, she operated the Romiosini Verlag in Cologne and was a lecturer at the University of Frankfurt am Main. Eideneier translated various Greek and German authors, contributed to neogreek literature, and led an initiative for Greek culture in Germany.
