Nikola Kusovac is a Serbian art historian, art critic, and publicist born on February 23, 1935, in Belgrade. He served as the curator and head of the Department of Art History at the National Museum in Belgrade. Kusovac is recognized as one of the most significant Serbian art critics, having published over two thousand works, including several dozen monographs on various Serbian painters. During the defensive war, he worked to preserve Serbian cultural heritage and has delivered over one thousand lectures and led numerous humanitarian actions.
