Nikola Maslovara, born on December 22, 1946, in Odžaci, is a prominent Serbian comics creator, cartoonist, and animator. He began his career at the tail end of the Silver Age of Serbian comics in 1971. Maslovara is known for creating various original characters, including Marko Kraljević and Detective Lakonogić. His work also includes internationally licensed comics like Felix the Cat and Tom and Jerry. In addition to comics creation, he has also contributed as a scriptwriter, editor, publisher, and art teacher.
