Noboru Okitani, born on December 17, 1957, is a former NHK broadcaster and manager who was active as a sports announcer. Hailing from the Hokuriku region, he graduated from Fukui Prefectural Kosh High School and Saitama University. He joined NHK in 1981, working in various locations including Kushiro and Toyama. After serving as the head of the announcer department, he became the manager of NHK Toyama Broadcasting Station in June 2012, before retiring from NHK.
