Nobutaka Tsugei (born December 19, 1950) is a Japanese musician known for his roles as a vocalist, guitarist, composer, and arranger. He was the former leader of the band Sentimental City Romance and is often referred to as 'Tsuge Nobu.' Hailing from Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Tsugei is active in solo performances as well as supporting other artists, notably Tokiko Kato. An avid shogi player, he showcased his skills by defeating a professional player in a televised match. His eldest son is Takamitsu Tsugei, a noted arranger and producer.
