Noel Swaranjit Sen, born on December 24, 1946, is a retired Indian Police Service officer from the 1968 batch. He served as the Director-General and Inspector-General of Police in Andhra Pradesh, India. Prior to his police career, he was commissioned in the Indian Army for a short service. Sen gained notoriety for his unique demonstration of combing operations during Naxal-related inquiries when he used a comb to illustrate his point during a press conference.
