Nomi Wilkens Jensen is a Danish visual artist born on January 21, 1957, in Rønne. She gained national attention in Denmark when, at the age of 20, she became the only Danish hostage during the hijacking of a Lufthansa plane on October 13, 1977. Following this traumatic event, where she was rescued by German commandos, she moved to Spain in 1984. There, she initially took over a furniture store before shifting her focus to real estate while also pursuing her art. She currently resides in Mijas Costa near Malaga.
