Nona Sureni Stepanyan was an Armenian art historian born on February 13, 1932, in Baku, Azerbaijan SSR, USSR. She earned her doctorate in art studies in 1987 and was a member of the Moscow Union of Artists. Stepanyan was the daughter of the sculptor Suren Stepanyan. She passed away on December 6, 2014, in Moscow, Russia. Her contributions to the field of art history and her association with artistic institutions marked her career, establishing her as a prominent figure in Armenian art scholarship.
