Norbert Stomp, born on December 25, 1940, in Schëffleng, is a Luxembourgish biologist, professor, and museum director. He is renowned for his role as the director of the Natural History Museum, as well as for his commitment to nature and environmental protection, contributing numerous scientific publications. Stomp is an effective member of the Section des sciences at the Institut grand-ducal and has held various prestigious positions, including honorary president of the Association des biologistes luxembourgeois. He has been active in promoting biodiversity since joining the Société des naturalistes luxembourgeois in 1963.
