Novica Tončev is a Serbian politician and businessman of Bulgarian descent, affiliated with the Socialist Party of Serbia. He is the brother of Ivica Tončev, a prominent member of the SPS and advisor to the party leader Ivica Dačić. Novica served as the mayor of Surdulica from 2008 to 2014. On October 28, 2020, he was appointed as Minister without portfolio in Ana Brnabić's second government, becoming the first Bulgarian to hold a ministerial position in Serbia.
