Nripendra Krishna Chattopadhyay (January 15, 1905 - July 23, 1963) was an Indian Bengali screenwriter, storyteller, lyricist, director, and actor, as well as a translator, short story writer, essayist, novelist, children's author, and radio program host. He was a multi-talented individual who played an important role in the cultural scene of Bengal in the first half of the twentieth century, with notable contributions to children's literature.
