Nripjit Singh Bedi, also known as 'Nippy', born on June 1, 1940, was an accomplished Indian volleyball player. He was a member of the national team that won a silver medal at the 4th Asian Games. Bedi was honored with the Arjuna Award by the Government of India in 1962, recognizing his contributions to sports. His volleyball career spanned 23 years. After retiring from sports in 1995, he served as a Commandant in the Border Security Force in Punjab.
