Nugzar Mgaloblishvili, born on March 7, 1948, in Sukhumi, is a Georgian artist and politician. He has been a deputy in the Supreme Council of the Abkhazia Autonomous Republic since 1991. Mgaloblishvili graduated from the Moscow Technological Institute of Decorative and Applied Arts and has been a member of the Union of Artists of Georgia since 1972. He served as a member of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Georgia from 1990 to 1991 and signed the Act of Restoration of State Independence of Georgia on April 9, 1991.
