Obaidul Hassan Shaheen is a Bangladeshi judge born on January 11, 1959. He served as the 24th Chief Justice of Bangladesh and was previously a judge in the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court. In 2022, he chaired the inquiry committee formed to establish the Bangladesh Election Commission. He was appointed as Chief Justice on September 12, 2023, and resigned on August 10, 2024, amid student protests.
