Oberto Airaudi (1950-2013) was an Italian cultist and founder of the Federation of Damanhur, a New Age commune and eco-village. Known as Falco, he led the construction of the Temples of Humankind beginning in 1978, initially in secrecy until revealed in 1992. Airaudi was born in Balangero, Italy, and worked as an insurance agent before establishing Damanhur. He died of colon cancer, which had spread to his liver, in the Damanhur community of Aval.
