Odd Gerhard Andreassen, born March 17, 1945, in Ankenes, is a former Norwegian rector, politician, and advisor. He served as the mayor of Narvik from 1988 to 1999 representing the Labor Party. Additionally, Andreassen was a member of the Narvik city council from 1983 until he declined re-election in 1999. In 1999, he was appointed as a member of the Defense Policy Committee and became its leader in 2000. Later that year, he took a position as an advisor for the Narvik municipality.
