Odd Lirhus is a retired Norwegian biathlete born on September 18, 1956, in Voss. He competed in the 1970s and 1980s, representing Norway at the Winter Olympics. At the 1980 Lake Placid Olympics, he placed fourth in the 4x7.5 km relay and seventh in the 10 km event. Four years later, he won a silver medal in the relay at the Sarajevo Olympics. Lirhus has also earned five World Championship medals, including one gold, and has two World Cup victories. After retiring, he served as the coach for the Norwegian women's biathlon team from 2002 to 2006.
