Odd Thorsen was a Norwegian interior architect and industrial designer, born on January 8, 1940, in Sandefjord. He graduated with a diploma in interior architecture in 1967 and in industrial design in 1973 from SHKS. Thorsen founded his firm, Odd Thorsen AS Design og arkitektur, in the 1970s and served as a professor of industrial design at NTNU from 1997 to 2004. He contributed significantly to public sector projects, including the design of visual profiles for the 1994 Winter Olympics. His work encompassed various design programs for Norwegian public transportation and urban furniture.
